NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming and represents the following:
Neuro – of the Neurological System – The Senses.
We all experience life through our different senses and translate Sensory information into thought processes – Conscious and Unconscious. Thoughts activate our Neurological System which in turn affects our Physiology – our Emotions and Behavior.
Linguistic – Language.
The human body uses Language to make sense of the world, capture and conceptualise experience, and then communicate that experience to others. In NLP, Linguistics looks at how the words, that we use, influences our experience.
Programming – Memory & Experience.
All of us code or mentally represent experiences. Individual programming consists of how we use our internal strategies and processes (thinking patterns), to make decisions, solve problems, learn, evaluate and get results.
NLP teaches us how to re–code our experiences and organise our internal programming to achieve the outcome, the result that we desire.
When in a state of Hypnotic trance – whether it be a Light, Medium, or Deep trance, we have access to key areas of the Subconscious Mind especially those areas that have no capacity to evaluate, judge, decide or reject suggestions.
The Subconscious Mind can be likened to an aircraft's Black Box Flight Recorder where everything that you have ever done, said, thought, smelt, and felt have been recorded.
Hypnosis allows us to re–run certain previous evaluations, and by altering the evaluation using Post–Hypnotic suggestions and NLP techniques, we open up the possibility to effect lasting positive change and rid the Subconscious of the previously negative thought process.
Once a negative belief is replaced with a positive core belief, then the change should be permanent.
